The arts council acts as an avocate for the arts within local and national organisations. It is and non profit organisation with charitable status and membership is open to anybody local. The group meets monthly and work involves organising and running art events and exhibitions. Enthusiasm and a desire to help is all you need to join us.

A toy library lends or hires out toys, puzzles, and games, functioning either as a rental shop or a form of family resource program. Toy libraries provide children with new toys every week or two, saving parents money and keeping children from getting bored.
